Saturday "Big Blog" by Christopher Folino
Welcome to "Gamers" the movie blog.
The movie has been entered into several film festivals and we do have several studios interested in distribution.
However, since the movie was made on credit cards , fairy dust, and love we are attempting to build up buzz and want to get into a major festival first.

So, with little money, we are doing radical things like taking $50.00 and gambling it on football to pay for the wonderful film festival fees.
To date we have earned $429 which is all riding on the New England Patriots -3 vs Tampa Bay Bucs
We would win an additional $246, which will go into the big pot that will cover all 9 festivals we have entered and perhaps one more.
We love the Pats! They won for us last week and we know the coach told them to "Win one for the movie "Gamers!" We also have $21.00 on the Pats on the same game to win by -7.
Right now, the PATS lead by 21 points! Thank you Jesus.

This would mean that we won $697 in one month.

This is the first time gambling to pay for well anything and it will be our last week.

We got a big week going on starting tomorrow, Beverly D'Angelo, Kelly LeBrock, William Katt and I'm trying to get more of the cast to be interviewed for an indie podcast movie. Maybe even John Heard!

You'll want to listen to this show, we release exclusive audio scenes for the interview!

Also, I want to give a shout out and a thanks to Chuck from Austin, who is placing odds to see which film festival accepts "Gamers".
Go vote at www.grogtard.com and click on Gamers Film Festival Poll to guess!

Don’t forget to sign up to the “Gamers” fan map which is just a click away on the links section!

Also, don't forget to visit Chuck’s rants and blogs, both are funny.

Friday blog by Christopher Folino
I noticed on Google yesterday that more people were looking up information about "Brokeback Mountain" more than "King Kong". If only they would of made Kong "gay", then the movie might do well in the theaters. Sad, to say, I don't this movies has gotten any press.

So, what's new?
I'm thinking next week, I'm going to take the time to tell a story about each of the actors and how we casted them for the movie "Gamers".
Since, I'm not getting anyof the actors real Christmas gifts, this is the least I could do!

After or maybe during the holiday break we will shoot the final scenes and wrap up the film.

I'm currently working on two scripts, one is for an animated project and the other is about a huge gay giant ape that falls in love with a cowboy. Ultimately, it is the attention of a human male cowboy that soothes the ape long enough for him to be subdued by the explorers and shipped back to San Francisco, where his bleak future involves being put on display in front of humans on board a Rosie O'Donnell Cruise ship.

Have a great weekend.

I think it will do very well in the red states.

Blog-O-Folino by Christopher Folino
Welcome to the "Gamers" blog

What's new?
The movie poster for "Gamers" is almost done. How good is it? God himself would pee in his pants, if he wore any pants! Serious, if you were God, would you even bother to wear pants?

So other than talking about God's fondness of nudity, what is going on?

We have an audio interview for the movie on Sunday with some mates down under. I'm going to ask the Indie guys who are located in Australia if they know the "Wiggles!"
Sadly, there was a time when I knew almost all the lyrics to their music.
Once, while driving from Irvine to Calabasas, I played one side of the "Wiggle" album and my daughter wasn't in the car. That was my two years ago, during my "Brokeback Mountain" period.

We got a big weekend planned for the movie; it's time to gamble all $429.00 on football! Why? Because, we need about $200 to pay all the fees associated with entering into the various film festivals.

I believe however, it will all pay off in the end. We are close to perhaps making an announcement soon.

I haven't even looked at the football picks yet and pro football is happening on Saturday.

In other news, I got to see my youngest twin boy laugh this morning. He's got a cute laugh, nothing like "Baby Stewie's" from the "Family Guy." I must work on him to develop a laugh that is more sinister!
How did I get a four-month-old baby to laugh?
I told him "Jesus loves daddy!" and the little dude just laughed his ass off!
You can't lie to children. God knows, I've told my daughter that if she doesn't clean up her room, Santa will come in, trip on her toys, and he'll break his neck. And she will be responsible for his death and all the other kids will blame her. And to make matters worse, the Easter Bunny will pee on her eggs every year to get revenge.

I think that's enough blog for one night.

Again, remember to go on IMDB and check out "Gamers 2006"
Look it up and check out the post message board for some more info!

"Almost Famous and Rejected for a fourth time" by Christopher Folino
I got to speak to both Beverly D'Angelo and Kelly LeBrock yesterday.

They both have been kind enough to do an audio interview about "Gamers" for an
upcoming indie movie show that will be available at www.intheq.com.au

Both women are very cool, and both actresses have perhaps some of most
recognizable voices also. I really don't know how I'm still able to get
through to them and speak to them on a regular basis. I don't think they
read my blog, which is a really good thing.

Kelly is in amazing shape and she'll be appearing on the Tyra Banks show
soon where she'll be promoting the hell out of her new show “Celebrity Fit Club” which will air on VH1 very soon. Kelly was kind enough to do "Ten Questions" for our web site, and we should have that up in a few weeks. Kelly also contacted Manuel and is trying to get him help to fight his cancer, again one of the nicest ladies you'll ever meet.

But, best of all Kelly can really curse! God bless her and her filthy mouth!

Now Beverly can curse also! Man that would be one hell of a curse-off!
Beverly D'Angelo verses Kelly LeBrock in swear match! I don't know who would
win? It would be fucking cool though!

Beverly is a very kind hearted woman and she's a great mom who happens to
have twins! We have that in common and she's always offering stuff to my boys.
Last night, we spent a good half hour talking about the HBO show "Entourage"
which Beverly guest stared in and killed on last season! Sounds like next season is going to be incredible and I can’t wait, I’m a big fan of the show.

The fathers of her kid’s are none other than Al Pacino and I joked with her that
her twins are going to be the most hated children during the school plays.
How can those kids’s not be great actors? Serious, if you're the 3rd grade
drama coach and Al and Beverly's kids are up for the lead role verses the "Costner" kids, who you going to pick?

I got to tell Beverly my story about pretending to be Al Pacino’s dad, which happened six years when my father was part of the “Son's of Italy”, an organization where Italian men greet each other by grabbing each other's testicals and mostly argues about Batchi.

Sal Pacino was a main member and my dad dropped out due to another friend being a prick or something. So, I called my dad one day and I disguised my voice so I'd sound like an old Italian man and I told him I was "Sal Pacino" and I asked him, "Hey Bobby, why haven't you been to the meetings lately?" He gave me some bullshit answer and I had him believing I was Sal Pacino for forty minutes, I swear to God. It was then that I decided to test my dad and see if he would reveal who his favorite son was. I said "Hey Bobby! You know my oldest son is pissing me off, I got three boys, which boy is your favorite? My, favorite son is Al."
Now, most parents would never share this information, even if they had a
knife to their throat. Nope, not my dad, he actually answered which of three
boys he was closes too and then gave Sal a run down of the order! I came in second…barely, my brother Michael who is moving to Chicago came in third. My brother Steven got the top spot! The fucking “Suck-up” manly boy of the bunch. However, I think after that phone call I dropped down to fourth. I could have kept this going for years with pretending to be Sal Pacino to my father. I should have, it was priceless. However, learning that I was the second favorite and that was by a nose, I decided to end the little game and as he wrote down his new best friend's number, he realized it was my telephone number and my dad screamed like a little girl being busted for looking at
The Jolly Green Giant's crotch "I knew it was you Christopher! I knew it was
you!" This happened about six years and I still get shit from dad's favorite
son for pulling that prank!

This just in, we travel to Berlin for this rejection.

“Gamers” can now add a fourth rejection from the "Berlin Film Festival" to our
list. Damn, this one hurt a lot, it cost like $125 to enter and $71.00 to Fed EX!
And to be honest, I just really wanted to go to the festival to use the famous line from "Top Secret" Hell, I dreamed of being interviewed by those “fucking”German reporters and whenever asked "Do you know a little German?” I'd reply “Yes, I know a little German and he's sitting right over there!"

Oh, I had it all down and rehearsed for days in front of a mirror! I even studied with Scott Allen Rinker to sell it more! Look at me now, so sad! "Someday I'll be the girl with the most cake", “But for now, we'll go on living separate lives Yes for now, we'll go on living separate lives"

Yes! A little Courtney Love lyrics and Phil Collins for you this morning! What other blog would bring this entertainment to you? Not a respectable one.

Beverly D'Angelo suggested our marketing campaign will be "Gamers" the movie that was rejected by every single film festival and Gary Coleman!"

I threw in the Gary Coleman line.

And lastly, serious start watching "Sleeper Cell" on Showtime, it's a great
show.

No Palm or Spring for "Gamers" by Christopher Folino
Last night, we got an email rejection from the Palm Springs Film Festival.
However, they were kind enough to include a fifteen-percent discount
coupon for one senior citizen to any Denny's restaurant to help ease the
pain. I look forward to using that coupon in about thirty more years.

For those keeping score, that's three rejections to film festivals so far.
To date I believe we have entered the film into six other festivals and are
awaiting word.

In honor of the rejection, I will be betting all $429 we earned last Sunday
on gambling football games in order to pay for the entry fees to all the
film festivals! It appears, I will call upon my total luck with picking the
winners, one more time! We shall get into a film festival so help me
"Kahnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!"

We've been talking with a former film festival director who is starting to
work with us as a consultant and he told us we had "no shot" at getting into
the Palm Springs Film Festival and that are chances of getting into the
Berlin Film Festival are "pretty close to hopeless." He openly laughed at
us when we told him we entered the Palm Springs Film Festival, because they
pick mostly foreign movies and the average audience there is at the young
age of seventy.

However, we would never have known unless we tried and that's what we will
continue to do. I didn't max out my credit cards, suffer property damage by
shooting in my own house, miss the critical hours of our twins in the NICU,
and leave the wife in the hospital for nothing!

We have eight distributors we can call tomorrow and have them view the film.
The game plan was to simply get into a festival, invite as many distributors
as possible to see the film with an audience and take the best offer. We
have total confidence that the film plays well with a large audience and we
want to see this film play in a theater instead of being Direct-To-DVD.

We know we have an audience for the movie and they're males from the age of
seventeen to thirty-seven. If you like "Family Guy" or "Airplane" or any
comedy with a bit of a bite, than you'll like our movie.

I have no desire to see "Brokeback Mountain for a fourth time, I will wait until it's on DVD,
so I can rewind all those tender cowmen-on-cowboy scenes!
Serious, I have no desire to see the film and I have to give Ben props for
coming up with "Brokeback Mountain" for a fourth time line."
However, I rushed out and got that "Stewie Family Guy" movie the very second
it came out and baby "Stewie" is so very gay; it's not even funny. It's just
that I don't want to see any love story at all in the movie theater. Even if
"Brokeback Mountain" stared Jon Voight's super seed "Angelina Jolie" and a
"Playmate", I don't give a shit about watching any love story. I'm not
programmed for that kind of movie, it bores me.
I love "Die Hard", "Reservoir Dogs", "Chris Rock", "Spinal Tap", "Curb Your
Enthusiasm", "The Office (both BBC and America), "The Family Guy", "The
Longest Day" and the first part of "Saving Private Ryan" and sadly, since
I'm in video production for some reason I can't watch porn shot on video,
the bad lighting and horrible camera angels freak me out.
I'm a freak, that's fine, I have freak friends who all worked on this film
and we know there are more freaks out there! I promise you that "Gamers" is
a freaking good time and that Freaks will inherit the earth!

CO-Director of "Gamers" Michael Folino gets big time job by Christopher Folino
From the front web site of Ad Week

"DDB in Chicago Names Michael Folino as Creative Chief Officer.
Folino will oversee creative on some of the network's showcase accounts including McDonald's and Anheuser-Busch.
his new post, Folino will oversee a creative staff of about 130 and report to DDB Chicago president and CEO Dana Anderson.

"Michael is passionate, driven and real," Anderson said in a statement. "When you talk with Michael about the work, something goes off inside him, and it is both inspiring and exciting to see. I believe he will be the perfect creative leader for the special culture here at DDB Chicago."

Folino fills a position that has been vacant for two years. An on-again, off-again search was made a top priority in March, when U.S. chief creative officer Bob Scarpelli—who had also been overseeing Chicago—was named chief creative officer of DDB's worldwide operations.

Folino is probably best known for a Wieden Nike spot from 2000 that depicted athletes' injuries as badges of honor to the tune of Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful to Me."

My thoughts, I knew all these years of drinking Budweisers and Big Macs would finally pay off!
I'm proud of you Michael! I had hoped to sell the film and keep you in California and promote you to Chief Officer "Yes" man!

Congrats my real brother and thank you for all the help on "Gamers"
I noticed there was no mention of the movie on the Ad Week article, I'm seriously going to reduce your fucking christmas this year!"

"A Blogful of goodness" by Christopher Folino
I know with the holiday season and being occasionally Catholic (I'm all there for funerals and baptisms!)
it always makes me reflect and ponder about Jesus and how he died for our sins.
Do you think he really meant it? Serious, to die for everyone's sins?
I'm sure there was like a kid, Jesus went to school with, and for fun we'll call him Muhammad and little Muhammad would just give Jesus grief! Threatening Jesus with "Jihad", and calling his mom various hurtful names all with regards to her "Virgin-Like" status?
Do you think when the time came, Jesus might of have had his hands tied, okay, bad reference. His tongue tied and said "Forgive them father for the know not what they do...except for Muhammad, make him a damn leopard!"
I know he's half God, Half man. But, serious? The half man part of him would win out right?

Okay, it was an interesting thought at 3AM this morning, now, it's just cruel and it will come across that I'm bashing Jesus! And by the way, the little boy Muhammad grew up and started his own religion and called it Islam....oh, he didn't go there? Oh, man! I kid, I kid!

All this, just to entertain five people for a blog? Shameful!

A Blogful of goodness?
I want to share with you things I find warm and fuzzy this holiday season.

1. Gambling on Football and winning -Forget about helping the "homeless" it's about the "home field advantage!"
2. Tamales -Really, there's nothing better than homemade tamale delivered to you by a dancing dwarf dressed as a tamale!
3. The Director's Cut of the "Passion of the Christ" with added slow motion shots of Jesus getting his ass totally kicked -That's good family viewing right? A little less Spongebob this Christmas and more "POTC?"

MOVIE UPDATE

In the next two weeks, we are going to film six new scenes to add to the movie. Real quick, flashback stuff that will be a nice addition.

WEB UPDATE

Regarding the web site, we are planning an update in the middle of January.
The forumn will get a major overhaul!

RANDOM THOUGHTS

One of my twin sons is still fixated on the air vents. I kind of hope he
never grows out it. I think it would be really cute if on his wedding
night, his wife catches him just staring at the air vent, drooling
and laughing. That's the romantic in me, coming out.

Rob in San Francisco pointed out to me this weekend that the movie "Yours,
Mine and Ours" is a remake. So, I want to apologize for calling it
"Original crap", I should call it by its proper name "recycled crap" and
"Cheaper By the Dozen 2” deserves a whole new category. "Worthless Payday
Crap"

That’s my blog today, and if you’re Christian or Muslim please remembers...your beliefs are still way better than those are Scientologist! Happy Holidays!

And if your a Scientologist! I kid, I kid. Please don't tell Tom!

Jesus really does love the movie called "Gamers" and so do the Colts and Patriots!
Jesus really does love our movie "Gamers!"
About a month ago, I took $50.00 and began to gamble it on Football to pay for the rather hefty costs of submission fees for film festivals. Today, thanks to New England Patriots at -4 and the Indianapolis Colts -6 1/2 we now have won a total over $400.00. So, we have $449.00 to pay off film festival entries. I'm going to put those teams in the credits under special thanks!

I'm done, no more gambling! The Cinderella story ends at 3 weeks of gambling!
It would be too tempting to bet it again to help start raising money for marketing!
I find it much easier to pick which NFL team will win each week, rather than pick which festival will let us in!

I got to cut this blog short tonight, I'm staging a hunger strike against IMDB until they add lead character and Executive Producer Kevin Sherwood to the site! I need to eat a sandwich and some blue peanut M&M's before I begin tomorrow morning, right after my Starbucks run. My prayers are we can wrap up this protest before lunch time! Scott Allen Rinker wants to take me to go see Brokeback Mountain...alone...and he promises to wear a cowboy outfit!

In film festival news, we should hear on December 15th if "Gamers" was accepted or rejected by the Palm Springs Film Festival. As always, we will brutally honest with the outcome and it's going to get harder and harder to make fun of all the film festivals that reject us. However, I'll find some way to continue to mock them all!
