10/09/2005: "New scene from the film to be posted on this week"
We will be posting a new scene from the movie this week.
I think only this blog will be new for today. Our web master is in San Fran today watching a plane show.
I'd like to add a movie quote page, but it's kind of pointless since only like 300 people will have seen the film by Saturday October 15th at the cast, crew, and friend’s party.
If you do sign up for the fan club we will be extending special offers to see the film and we will be sending an exclusive trailer for anyone who signs up. And maybe we will send someone a pony.
And for all those asking, we don't have a distributor yet. We are getting calls, however, we want them to come see the movie with a crowd. That's why we are sending nice vibes to Sundance, Slamdance, and the Pico Rivera Film Festival!
Lastly, until someone writes me and tells me that the blog sucks, I'll continue to talk shit about Gary Coleman and tell inside stories about everyone. And if they get mad at me, they can get in line.
So, one quick Gary Coleman story. I spent a lot of time at Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, CA. My wife gave birth to our twin boys there who were kept in the NICU for about 6 weeks. The exact same day we started production on Gamers, that's a book right there. Or at least a weeks worth of blogs.
Well, some frickin marketing genius over at the hospital has a timeline of world events that correlates to the hospital. And in one section they have births, and I believe 1969 was the first birth for the hospital and underneath they have a section called other notable births in history that year.
And I swear to God they list Gary Coleman and they say something like Actor and former gubernatorial candidate for California. What the holy hell! There's no way Cash call man got more than like 20 votes for Governor!
And who in the hell would post this at a major hospital? Gary's publicist must be a God.
It was bad enough to see Celine Dion’s name also listed.
So, thanks for reading the blog and supporting the film!
